    what do regard as the best exercise for back mass?

    Ok of all the exercises you do for your back which do you think is most affective for adding over all mass?

    I'm torn on this one between chins or deadlifts.

    Dead lifts for me all day long!

    I can kinda understand why you would say chins Brawn but I think its pretty standard that deadlifts are the don of all back movements.

    Thicker back or wider back

    If you want a thicker back giving u that chest to back thickness then deadlift..and deadlift HEAVY Twisted Evil . Lock your back nicely so you can get that *roll* out of it.
    For a wider back its pull ups,pull downs and chin ups. Nice and heavy then drop set it if u can.
    Seated and single arm rows wont hurt either.
